BG/WSO Opening

The Bowling Green/Western Symphony Orchestra helped open the renovated VanMeter Auditorium in style Friday night with a special concert. The acoustics are incredible… you can truly hear every note. To finish out the performance, a group of strings students from the area’s elementary & middle schools played along for the final score.

WKU vs UK at Bowling Green Ballpark

Hey everyone! I know its been a while since i have posted anything but that is all about to change. Last night WKU hosted UK at the home of the Hot Rods, Bowling Green’s single A baseball team, in downtown Bowling Green. Western got off to a blistering start scoring 16 runs in the bottom of the second without even recording an out! Here is Pano taken from the left field walkway during that inning. Enjoy

On the heels of the WKU-Owensboro dedication, Senator Mitch McConnell was on campus to dedicate the Architectural & Manufacturing Sciences new Advanced Robotics Lab. This single room is like a playground for Computer Science, Engineering & Manufacturing majors. It’s quite impressive!

WKU-Owensboro dedication

A few weeks ago we had the honor of dedicating the newest WKU regional campus in Owensboro. The brand new, state-of-the-art building is the centerpiece for the regional campuses and our first stand alone building in Owensboro. It was great to see all the support from the main campus and the droves of people from Owensboro/Daviess County!
