164th Commencement

Saturday heralded the 164th Commencement ceremony at WKU. We graduated 1009 students in Diddle Arena and went off without a hitch (as far as I could tell). Anyway, congratulations to all the grads and good luck!

Portrait Work, part 2

Also over the summer, I worked on a special project for the Alumni Office for the autumn issue of WKU Spirit Magazine in which we covered diversity… not only ethnic, but social, professional and economic. Pictured here are Margaret Munday, the first African-American student at WKU, Joe Tinius, the superintendent of Bowling Green Independent School District, Nathan Baker, an Autistic WKU student, Paola Cassana, a senior marketing coordinator for St. Jude Hospital and Perry Hines, an alum who fights for prayer in the workplace.

Portrait Work, part 1

One of the major components to my job here is location portrait work. Over the summer, I had the opportunity to photograph several students for the Admissions Dept. for various print projects. The students all had individual profiles in the Admissions calendar, Viewbook and other material that is circulated to hundreds and thousands of high school students considering attending WKU.

Here are some of my favorites…
