R.O.S.

WKU electrical engineering seniors Jack Wallace and Kory Liszt demonstrated their class project to local media Friday – a remotely operated submersible camera system that will be used by the Warren County Rescue Squad to assist in river and lake rescue situations.

They hope to market the device to other state agencies as the WKU ROS is more capable and maneuverable than other similar types of devices on the market, not to mention a fraction of the cost.

I had the opportunity to hop in the pool following the press conference to get a different take on the day… not a bad way to spend the morning.
