SCATS Camp

For the past two weeks Western has hosted a camp for gifted middles school students. These students traveled from around Kentucky to participate in a two week camp consisting of various classes that ranged from math to acting. For this past week I have been able to photograph just a few of these classes. First was the Ceramics class, then Jump Into Health, Acting, Natural Disasters, and finally Musical Troupe. The Health and Natural Disasters class were more of your formal classes while the Ceramics, Acting and Musical Troupe consisted of non traditional “hands on” learning. I hope you get a feeling for what this camp was like for these young adults.
